Why I started my virtual trainer

 Hi, I'm Elliot.


My Virtual Trainer was inspired by watching my nan lose confidence, strength, and independence as she got older.

Like many families, we saw how quickly everyday tasks can become more difficult after falls, injuries, or periods of inactivity. Simple things that most people take for granted suddenly became a challenge. My nan was incredibly independent.  She travelled the world and was always on the go. But after experiencing falls and mobility problems later in life, I saw how quickly confidence and independence can be affected. Watching that journey inspired me to create My Virtual Trainer and help others stay strong, active and independent for longer. 


Watching this happen made me realise how important movement really is.

Not for building the perfect physique.

Not for running marathons.

But for maintaining independence, confidence, and quality of life.


My goal is to make exercise simple, accessible, and achievable for older adults, regardless of their starting point. Whether you're looking to improve your balance, build strength, feel steadier on your feet, or simply move with more confidence, I want to help you take that first step.


Everything I create is designed to be practical, beginner-friendly, and easy to follow at home.

Today, My Virtual Trainer includes exercise videos, downloadable plans, and resources designed specifically for older adults. As the community continues to grow, I plan to expand this further with new programmes, guides, and support to help more people stay active and independent for longer.


This isn't just a business to me.

It's a mission inspired by someone I loved very much, and a belief that nobody should lose confidence in their ability to move if there are simple things we can do to help.
